Contradiction: Land + Sky

Casually dining outside one Texas afternoon, Chuck turned to me and suggested that we make our way inside. Within minutes we were seated at a cozy corner table protected on two sides by floor to ceiling windows that made it feel as though we were still seated outside. Quietly he said, “watch this”.

Within seconds a deluge of water hit the remaining al fresco diners. A new weather app had alerted him of the impending storm and he had moved us to safety where we watched as a motion blur of people scrambled for shelter.
